Gone Wrong Totally Wrong

Well hello all! last night I was reading the most horrific article on the web. It was about faulty equipment on an airline and a woman died on that flight. My thoughts and prayers go out to this family as it shouldn't have happened. I mean she was refused twice oxygen and when she did finally get it the tanks were empty. What does this mean for technology coming into place? Is it more faulty now than before? I'm not sure if I would even want to fly again due to knowing about the technology and equipment aboard planes....

The Gaming Industry

Well hello there! Look at how far we have come in the gaming industry. I mean we came from playing with a joystick and now all we have to do is point our controller to the tv and we are playing a game. I bought a nintendo wii and find that they are a pretty useful piece of technology. The fact that all you have to do is swing the controller like a bat/tennis racket or even your arm as if your bowling or boxing. I even find you can also use it for working out. It can determine your "wii age" based on your balance, stamina and speed.

welcome

Welcome fellow students to my blogging page

This blog will be used for my studies in ed3862 (1st session) and ed4862 (2nd session). It says to talk about something discussed in class. So I'm going to talk about the use of cellphones. My 13 year old niece who lives with me has a cellphone, and like Jeff said teenagers aren't talking on them, instead she uses hers as a texting device. My niece originally recieved her cellphone so we would know where she was and if was stuck somewhere she could call and we would go get her. Her phone is a sliding phone. You can talk on it normally or flip it so you can use it to text easier. Most of the time she is texting. So in my opinon any teenager can run circles around me in the field and knowledge of cellphones, which I do hope to change in learning more about technology within this course. So in closing I'd like to say that I think cellphones are one of the best things in technology, considering we came from back in the days of making phone calls through morse code, and now its wireless and you can carry your phones where ever you go.
